Current research interests:
Activities in material research, development and testing, especially surface engineering, chemical phase analysis (e.g. evaluation of surface layers, investigation of behaviour of metallic materials in various types of environment, development of isolation methods of minority phases from metallic materials, determination of chemical stability phases in various types of media, assessment of possibilities of material solution for implementation in demanding exploitation conditions), UFG materials.
Membership in professional societies – Metal Science, Association of Corrosion Engineers, Czech Society for New Materials and Technologies, ASM International.
Independent expert for evaluation of project proposals (RF Coal and Steel, FP7 – Nanotechnologies, Materials and Production Technologies)
