Main directions of research
I work on the physical metallurgy and mechanical properties of materials. My research work has so far been focused on the following areas: 1. Strengthening processes in solid solution. 2. The orientation of habit planes of martensite plates. 3. Studies of the dynamic effects of martensite plate after impingement at obstacle. 4. Contributions tu studies of shape memory effects in Ni-Ti alloys. 5. Structure and properties of steel surface layers after their laser processing. 6. Study of the structure and properties of magnesium alloys. 7. Study of the structure and properties of UFG materials. 8. Work on specific problems thrown up by industrial practice.
